Yesterday I had a problem with saving projects in Jamovi, if I pressed save or save as, it would just freeze
Today, the same problem, even when trying to save without making changes.
I decided to clean out everything and reinstall linux and jamovi from scratch.
but when I try to run Jamovi now it wont open, it spins when pressing the icon, and using the terminal creates this:
jaja@penguin:~$ flatpak run org.jamovi.jamovi
bwrap: Can't mount proc on /newroot/proc: Operation not permitted
error: ldconfig failed, exit status 256
Unable to start Jamovi on Chromebook
Re: Unable to start Jamovi on Chromebook
I got Jamovi running by pasting in some code I found on another thread
sudo umount /proc/{cpuinfo,diskstats,meminfo,stat,uptime}
(I probably should not have run it since i don't know what it does, but it worked)
So jamovi is up and running again, but still freezes when I try to save the project
sudo umount /proc/{cpuinfo,diskstats,meminfo,stat,uptime}
(I probably should not have run it since i don't know what it does, but it worked)
So jamovi is up and running again, but still freezes when I try to save the project
Re: Unable to start Jamovi on Chromebook
hi,
jamovi runs on crostini on chromebooks, and this isn't always flawless ... depending on the chromebook.
you may need to use the cloud version instead:
https://cloud.jamovi.org
cheers
