When I try to install the semlj (SEM) package, I get an error that the "Installed version is incompatible".
My current version is 1.6.23, and I tried reinstalling the newer solid version, but it didn't work. I have two main questions:
1)Is the error of "Installed version is incompatible" related to the outdated version of 1.6.23?
and
2) Is there a way to manually update Jamovi? I have my auto-updates on, but it says that no updates are currently available.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Installed version is incompatible
hi,
when you change jamovi versions, sometimes there's a discontinuity in module compatibility, and the version you previously had installed is no longer compatible. if you navigate to the list of installable modules, you'll find the option there to update to a compatible version.
if you want to update jamovi, you can uninstall the old version, and then download and install a new version
