The procedure entry point DiscardVirtualMemory could not be locted in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll

Dear Team,

I installed the latest jamovi version to my Desktop (Win 7 Home Premium) and every time I try to run it I get the following error message:

"The procedure entry point DiscardVirtualMemory could not be locted in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"

I installed all the necessary Win7 updates but still nothing.

Any ideas?

what version of jamovi is this? i could imagine the 2.5 not being compatible with windows 7 (which is kinda old).

could you try the 2.3 series?
